Free COVID-19 testing

County schedules public health event at fairgrounds

The National Guard will conduct drive-thru covid testing from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the Waupaca County Fairgrounds in Weyauwega.

They plan up to 400 tests.

The testing is free and no appointments are required.

Participants must stay in their vehicles and be wearing a cloth or surgical mask.

Testing is available for those ages 5 and older.

A parent or guardian must accompany any minor ages 5-17 to consent to the testing.

COVID-19 symptoms

• Fever (>100.4)

• Cough

• Fatigue

• Sore throat

• Headache

• Chills

• Muscle aches

• Diarrhea

• Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing

• New abnormalities in taste or smell

• Nausea

• Vomiting

• Not everyone with COVID-19 has all of these symptoms. For many, symptoms are mild, with no fever.
