Woman airlifted to hospital
A woman was injured in a motorcycle crash shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The crash occurred on County Trunk E approximately one mile south of State Highway 161, in the town of Helvetia.
Initial information on scene indicates the female operator was traveling northbound and failed to negotiate a
curve in the roadway.
The motorcycle entered the east ditch and the driver was ejected.
ThedaStar flew the operator from the scene to the hospital due to her injuries.
This incident remains under investigation. The operator’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
