Police investigating Sunday night incident
Police responded to a reported shooting shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the city of Waupaca.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Officers began immediately providing medical aid until Waupaca Gold Cross Ambulance arrived and transported the man to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol appears to be a contributing factor, , according to as press release from the Waupaca Police Department.
The incident remains under investigation.
Police have not released names or further details at this time.
