Theisen, Anthony “Tony” J.

Anthony “Tony” J. Theisen, age 70, of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

He was born on April 7, 1950 in Neenah, WI, the son of the late Floyd and Genevieve (Wilke) Theisen. Tony worked with his daughter, Sarah, painting homes throughout the area for many years. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing bass guitar in many different bands. He was like a music encyclopedia when it came to his musical knowledge. Tony also loved woodworking, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and hiking, but his greatest passion was spending time with his grandchildren, and he cherished time spent with family and friends.

Tony is survived by two daughters, Amy (Rob) Bradley, Monticello and Sarah (Dan) Schmidt, Fremont; five grandchildren: Jack Bradley, Allison and Clayton Schmidt and Julie and Noah Kennis; his brother, Tim (Cid) Pavlick, Clintonville; his sister, Peg (Wayne) Hobbs, New London; his sister-in-law, Maggie Theisen, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Luke, a brother, Dennis and a sister, Julie.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 12-2 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Fremont, WI.
