Weekend crash in Waupaca County
Two people were killed in a crash at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, in the town of Lebanon.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, a northbound vehicle lost control on U.S. Highway 45 near Gielow Road and collided with a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle and a passenger in the northbound vehicle were pronounced dead.
A helicopter flew the driver of the northbound vehicle to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
The sheriff’s office has not released names at this time.
