Bob was employed at Waupaca Foundry for close to 23 years; and he worked out of both the Waupaca and Marinette locations. He was united in marriage on October 8, 1994 to Holly Anderson at Zion Lutheran Church in Tigerton. The couple was blessed with three children but were later separated. Bob lived in Peshtigo for about twenty years and then returned to Clintonville area in 2015. Next, he worked at Tyson Foods, New London, in the Plant Maintenance Department for some years. In his early days, Bob enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He was often very competitive and never did anything halfway. He liked playing softball, flag football, basketball, and shooting pool. Bob also followed the Brewers and Packers games. He loved going for rides on his Harley-Davidson and listening to classic rock music. His favorite pastime was sitting by a campfire whenever possible with family and friends. In 2017 Bob was fortunate to meet Nancy Eberhardt who became his life partner. The couple enjoyed spending lots of time together and Bob truly cherished that. He always sacrificed his heart and soul for his children and family.

Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Janet Arndt of Tigerton; three children, Jordan Arndt of Ellsworth AFB, Box Elder, SD, Tasha (James) Kersten of Wausau, and Tabitha (significant other Tyler) Arndt of Appleton; and his life partner, Nancy Eberhardt of Clintonville.
