Motorcycle passenger airlifted with severe injuries
One person was killed and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash at 10 p.m. Saturday, May 1, in Waupaca.
According to the Waupaca Police Department, a 43-year-old man was operating a motorcycle westbound on Royalton Street when he struck a utility pole.
Gold Cross Ambulance transported him to ThedaCare in Waupaca where he was pronounced dead.
An ambulance transported a 43-year-old female passenger to the Waupaca hospital, then ThedaStar airlifted her to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah where she is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
