Displays describe history of Main Street Waupaca
The Waupaca Historical Society is bringing local history outdoors at the Holly History and Genealogy Center this summer.
A three-panel exhibit on the history of Waupaca’s Main Street will be on display Thursdays through Saturdays on the lawn of the Holly Center throughout the summer.
The panels tell the story of Main Street from the Menominee Indian tribe to present.
Currently, Waupaca’s Main Street is under construction, to be completed in the fall.
The exhibit made its debut at Strawberry Fest on Saturday, June 19.
The Waupaca Historical Society was awarded a Spark grant from the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley this spring to fund the exhibit. The exhibit is free, accessible and family-friendly.
