Marion Louise Zarling, age 76 of Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Marion was born on January 11, 1945 in New London to the late Alvin and Luella (Stilen) Larson. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Zarling in April of 1961. Together they had five children and later divorced. Marion met Arne Poehlman of Manawa and spent the rest of her life with him.
Marion leaves behind her children: Linda Gunderson, Laurie (Todd) Yaeger, Darlene (Don Jacobs) Hogan, Debbie Zarling and Daryle (Danielle) Zarling; grandchildren: Cassidy and Ryan Gunderson, Joshua (Nicole) Yaeger, Jeni (Aaron) Olson, Brittney (fiancé Charlie Konetzke) Hogan, Dalton Hogan, Cortney (Nick Schreiber) Lockman, Chyanne (Mitchell Warrington) Lockman, Skylar (Conlan Moericke) Lockman and Amber (Donald) Beechy; great-grandchildren: Grace, Faith, Remi, Noah, Nolan, Nathan, Beau, Easton, Henley, Waylon and baby Yaeger due February; Arne’s children, Glen (Dee Dee), Daniel (Carrie), Pam (Roberto) Alameda; his grandchildren: Preston, Parker, Levi, Tyler, Joey, Adam and Phoenix; one brother, Merrill (Marilyn) Larson; two sisters, Carolin (Jack) Grunwaldt and Kathy (Rod) Bessett and many nephews and nieces. Gone before Marion are her parents; brothers, Ervin, Raymond and Francis; sister, Barbie and her beloved dog, Sandy.
There will be a graveside service for Marion at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Ascension Cemetery in Nichols with Rev. Mark and Marcia Sabin officiating. Visitation will take place at the cemetery from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
