John W. Manasterski, age 89 of Waupaca, passed away on Friday August 19, 2022.
John was born on August 6, 1933, the son Samuel and Tillie (Evinuk) Manasterski. John married Lois Blankenship on June 30, 1956. John enjoyed doing landscape work around the chain of lakes, spending time with family and friends both in Wisconsin and North Dakota, going to antique stores, camping in northern Wisconsin and collecting Wisconsin beer bottles.
John is survived by his wife of 66 years Lois Manasterski; his son Scott Manasterski; daughter Gail Haley; grandchildren Mike (Laura Wood) Manasterski, Kari Manasterski, William Spade, Mike Spade and Josh Koch; greatgrandchild Bryce Manasterski who he referred to as “The Little Guy”; his sisters Joyce, Helen, LaVon and Bonnie, many other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by parents Samuel and Tillie Manasterski; two sons Russell and Randy Manasterski; one sister Ann and one brother Donald.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday September 9, 2022 at 10 A.M. at the Parfeyville Cemetery. The Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
