Suspect charged with cocaine, meth possession

Lisa M. Somers, 28, Wild Rose, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and disorderly conduct as an act of domestic abuse.

On Aug. 9, Waupaca police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Tower Road. The caller reported that the mother of his three young children was yelling at him and “going crazy.”

He said Somers threw juice at him and he showed the officer a video of her yelling and swatting the phone out of his hand.

According to the criminal complaint, when police arrested Somers, they searched her wallet and reported finding the clipped off corner of a small plastic bag with a white powder that tested positive for cocaine.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers found a used syringe with a white crystalline substance that tested positive for meth.

They also found several syringe caps and children’s toys, bedding and clothing in the car.

Somers was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond.
