LouAnn Lind, age 85, of West Bloomfield, was called to her heavenly home on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022.
She was born on February 25, 1937 in Town of Wolf River, the daughter of the late Elmer and Edna(Schuelke) Bartel and was baptized and confirmed in the faith at St. John Lutheran Church in East Bloomfield and raised on the family farm in Metz.
On June 27, 1954, LouAnn married Dale Lind at St. John Lutheran Church and they settled in West Bloomfield, where they raised their four sons, Troy, Bryan, Randy and Terry. LouAnn worked at the Sunset Curve BP before retiring after 24 years. She loved snowmobiling and traveling, dancing with Dale and playing cards. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield, where she loved singing in the choir. LouAnn will be greatly missed by her family.
LouAnn is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dale; four Sons, Troy (Marco) Lind, Bryan( Cindi) Lind, Randy Lind, Terry (Fiancé Renee) Lind; nine grandchildren, Travis, Clint, Christopher(Ashley), Austin, Jeremy(Cathy), Heather, Danielle(Josh), Tristan(Stephanie) and Hunter; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Peggy Schmidt; her brother-in-law, Jerry Lind; her sister-in-law, Janet Rogers;nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, two daughters-in-law, Tammy Lind and Trudy Lind; three brothers-in-law, Carleton Schmidt, Lloyd(Donna)Lind and Duane Lind and a sister-in-law, Beverly Lind.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, N6412 State Road 49, Weyauwega, WI. Rev. Brian Weber will officiate. Inurnment will be in Concordia Cemetery, West Bloomfield. Visitation will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Friday, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A memorial fund has been established for Christ Lutheran Church.
