Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 21

• Dec. 19 – A caller reported someone entered her home while she was gone for the weekend. She is moving out of the residence and her boxes and furniture were moved into the garage.

• Dec. 20 – A Waupaca man reported 24-year old female took a bunch of pills and was breathing but unresponsive.

• Dec. 20 – A Scandinavia caller on County Trunk J reported someone was poisoning his dog. His dog was sick and he took it to the vet who concluded the dog ate rat poison. On this day, he found bread on his property and his dog was eating it.

• Dec. 20 – The Boondocks Bar in Manawa reported getting a worthless check.

• Dec. 20 – A Waupaca caller on Fulton Street reported her boyfriend was threatening her.

• Dec. 20 – A New London caller on Ostrander Road reported a man and woman were arguing.

• Dec. 20 – A Fremont caller on County Trunk H reported getting threatening phone calls from a person who said he should, “Watch your back,” and to “not go to sleep.”

• Dec. 21 – Boondocks Bar in Manawa reported getting a worthless check.

• Dec. 21 – The Waupaca Foundry reported an employee did not clock out, left behind his cell phone and wallet, and they were unable to reach him. They requested a welfare check. The man was found dead at his residence.

• Dec. 21- A Waupaca caller on Fulton Street reported his girlfriend “is going nuts.” She was hollering, breaking stuff and throwing things.

• Dec. 21- An unknown caller reported a chimney fire on the N5000 block of Murray Road.

• Deer-auto collisions increased greatly during this period after an unusual two-week low. There were an above average of auto crashes, disabled vehicles and vehicles in the ditch. Two German shepherds were reported running loose near Manawa.
