Crash victim airlifted

Vehicle hits tree in Farmington

Rescue workers freed a trapped driver from a crashed vehicle around 3 a.m. Sunday, April 23.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was traveling south on Pryse Drive in Farmington when it crossed the center line, entered the east ditch and struck a tree.

The victim was removed from the vehicle, given medical treatment at the scene, transported by ambulance to ThedaCare in Waupaca and airlifted to ThedaCare in Neenah.

The Waupaca Fire Department, Gold Cross Ambulance and UW Med Flight assisted deputies at the scene.

No further details have been released at this time.
