Waupaca County sheriff’s report May 21

• May 15 – An Ogdensburg woman on Kriese Road reported an overdose.

• May 15 – A Fremont man on Wisconsin Street reported a fraud involving a fake Facebook support number.

• May 15 – A Weyauwega woman on White Lake Road reported her neighbors were mowing part of her yard.

• May 15 – An Iola man on Wasrud Road reported $60, muck boots and prescription medicine (oxycodone) were stolen from his vehicle.

• May 15 – A caller reported being adrift in a 16-foot boat with a dead battery.

• May 15 – A Waupaca woman on Akron Road reported an out-of-control fire and heard things blowing up.

• May 15 – A Clintonville woman on Riverside Drive reported a restraining order violation. A man was sending her and her daughter messages.

• May 15 – Waushara County Sheriff Department requested an attempt to make contact with a man involved in a gas drive-off in Plainfield.

• May 15 – A Clintonville man on 17th Street reported loud music coming from an address for the past few nights.

• May 15 – A Waupaca woman on Park View Way reported a man was setting off quarter sticks of dynamite for 30 minutes.

• May 15 – A Waupaca man on Union Street reported he was drunk and does not want to fall and hurt himself.

• May 15 – An Embarrass caller on Elm Street reported a suspicious man who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a hat and gloves was standing on his porch with something in his hands.

• May 16 – A Bear Creek caller on Bells Corner Road reported someone did donuts in his parking lot and sprayed gravel everywhere.

• May 16 – A Clintonville caller on County Trunk D reported that he suspected a man of putting penicillin in his bulk tank.

• May 16 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile kicked in an office window and injured a staffer in the process. The juvenile left the premise and was walking down the road.

• May 16 – A male caller reported that he was mad that the train was blocking the railroad crossing.

• May 16 – A Waupaca woman on Cemetery Road reported two men were fighting; one with a knife and the other had an unknown weapon.

• May 16 – A Mosinee caller reported a woman had a mental breakdown, got out of the vehicle, walked along the highway and off into a ditch. He could no longer see her.

• May 16 – A Wautoma caller reported a man carrying a bag and standing in the middle of a highway ramp. The caller drove around him and the man tried jumping in front of the vehicle.

• May 17 – East Side Mobil in Waupaca reported a gas drive-off valued at $36. It was a silver Honda Hatchback.

• May 17 – A Waupaca caller on Main Street reported a man was threatening suicide. He made attempts in the past.

• May 17 – A New London woman on Weiland Road reported a fraud involving a person claiming they were with the Federal Trade Commission.

• May 18 – A Weyauwega caller on County Trunk X reported someone broke into his hunting blind, broke all the windows and stole a game camera.

• May 18 – An unknown caller reported a man in his 40s was having a panic attack. He was drinking and took sleeping pills. His girlfriend was yelling at him.

• May 19 – A male caller reported there was a man standing in traffic and swinging swords.

• May 19 – A Waupaca caller on Ash Road reported a woman made suicidal comments, saying, “She wished she could tie a rope around her neck and tie it to her car.”

• May 19 – A Waupaca caller on Brian Court reported an intoxicated man was going door-to-door and said he wanted to shoot rabbits in peoples’ yards.

• May 19 – A female caller reported her ex-husband slammed the door on her during a custody exchange and it left a mark.

• May 19 – A male 911 caller provided a 920 area-code number and said, “There is a dead birthday present waiting for them.” The caller disconnected and did not answer the call back.

• May 20 – A Waupaca caller on Park Lane Drive reported he was with his grandson who was drunk and in violation of his probation.

• May 20 – A Scandinavia caller on Pleasant Street reported she was scammed out of $1,500 by sending gift cards to a man on Facebook.

• May 20 – A male caller reported there was a man in a New London emergency room with a wound to his right hand. The man was shooting a handgun and injured himself.

• May 20 – A Weyauwega caller on State Highway 110 reported his disabled son broke the neighbor’s window.

• May 20 – An Ogdensburg caller on Black Lake Road reported his granddaughters heard some screaming and gunshots in the field from behind his house. The neighbors heard it as well.

• May 20 – A Waupaca caller on Cobbtown Road reported a woman was throwing things at him while he was sleeping.

• May 21 – An unknown caller reported a car on fire and a garden hose was being used to put it out.

• May 21- An unknown caller reported a man passed out in a boat that was floating around.

• May 21 – A Clintonville caller on 38th Street reported he was living in a camper on this property and he feared for his life.

• May 21 – A Weyauwega caller on Sumner Street reported an intoxicated woman who was unable to get up.

• There were 22 controlled burns called in. The water patrol stopped four boats. There were multiple calls of an injured goose standing near a roadway. A caller reported a black horse and a white horse running loose on the road. A caller reported running over a dog. An Ogdensburg caller reported sheep running in the roadway. A Waupaca male was bitten on the arm and stomach by a dog. A Marion woman reported two ponies, a horse and sheep running loose. A sheriff patrol car hit a wild turkey. A loose horse was reported on County Trunk E and heading north to Waupaca.
