A 2-year-old girl was found not breathing shortly after 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 12, in Iola.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the toddler became trapped between the crib slats and the corner of the crib.
She was transported from the 200 block of West Iola Street by ambulance to ThedaCare-Waupaca, where she was pronounced deceased.
Sheriff’s deputies and Iola police are jointly investigating this incident.
