Clintonville hosts Fall Frenzy

Event scheduled for Sept. 16

This year’s Fall Frenzy is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in downtown Clintonville.

The event is sponsored by the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce and B&H Fashionwear & Footwear,

The Pigeon Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District will host their kayak race at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15.

Participants may register on the chamber website or at the event.

This year they will also have kayaks available for anyone who does not own one.

Saturday schedule

The Pigeon Lake District will also host a duck race at 11 a.m. in front of the Community Center. It costs $2 per duck, cash and prizes for the winners.

The pie contest, sponsored by Adelle’s Bluebird Café and Tadych’s Marketplace, starts at 8:30 a.m.

Participants should bring their apple, pecan, pumpkin or chocolate pies to be judged – two per category.

Registration is available now on the chamber website or at the event. Cash prizes will be awarded. Pies will then be sold to purchase CPR machines for the Clintonville Area Ambulance.

Onward Clintonville will host the Fall Frenzy 5k at 9 a.m. To participate, register online at runsignup.com.

At noon, Jeanne Rose will host a Cornhole Tournament to benefit the Clintonville Area Food Pantry. Registration is available at Jeanne Rose Sports Bar.

There will be food available by Bear Creek BBQ, UCC Church, a Caramel Apple Bar by Old Glory Candy, New London Methodist Church Men’s Club offering brats and hamburgers and authentic Mexican tacos.

More than 60 venmdors are expected, including crafts, woodworking, honey, make and take projects, Norwex, Mile 22 Roastery, Simply Aromatic, Pink Zebra, with a a special section for The Robbin’s Nest Vendors.

New this year are some chainsaw carving and martial arts demonstrations. Live music by Pearl Street Band, DJ by Jeanne Rose will also be provided.

The event will also feature a Community Zone and a Kid Zone with bouncy houses, petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, games, prizes, and Clintonville Area Ambulance will be there to show off their vehicles.

A basket raffle will also be available with some great prizes, sponsored by Scour Plumbing, Drain and Sewer Contractor will sponsor a basket raffle for prizes. A scavenger hunt will take place with prizes donated by Tadych’s Marketplace.
