Waupaca gets volleyball win

Waupaca’s volleyball team needed five sets to pick up its first North Eastern Conference win over Oconto Falls.
That wasn’t the case in the Comets’ next match, however, as they needed only three games to defeat Clintonville.
Waupaca opened the match with 25-15 and 25-21 wins and wrapped up the sweep with a 25-20 win in the third game.
Both teams have North Eastern matches at home scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 14. Waupaca will host Little Chute, while Wrightstown will head to Clintonville. Both matches will start at 7 p.m.
