Event raises funds for I-S students

The Haunted Mill will return to the historic Iola Mills, 300 N. Main St., Iola.
Times and dates are 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20–21; 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26; and 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27–28.
Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older or $5 for ages 12 and under. Visitors will receive $1 off admission with a donation of a nonperishable item for the food pantry.
Funds raised are earmarked for the Iola-Scandinavia High School Junior Prom and graduation.
“The Haunted Mill is a great event because it is fun for all involved,” class adviser Angela Keegan said. “The students work really hard to bring a spooky event to Iola and the Millstone provides the best atmosphere to do that.”
