Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 3

Nov. 27 – Faulks Brothers Construction reported a suspicious vehicle parked on their property.

Nov. 27 – A Waupaca woman on Center Street reported a suspicious blue Ford F150 parked in a driveway and then it moved to the caller’s driveway. When the caller tried to take a photo of the vehicle, it sped off on County Trunk E toward Ogdensburg.

Nov. 27 – A caller reported a juvenile sent photos of his or her wrists, which looked cut up and there was blood everywhere.

Nov. 27 – A Waupaca man on Shambeau Trace reported he was not home but his paralyzed wife called him and told him their dog was “barking loud and weird.” She suspected there could be something or someone outside the house.

Nov. 28 – An anonymous caller reported a farmer was in the process of selling some cattle. One cow was sold and its calf was left behind. The caller thought the calf might starve to death since it was unable to nurse.

Nov. 28 – Northport Convenience Store reported a young male trying to use a fake ID.

Nov. 28 – A Waupaca caller on State Street reported her sister’s ex-boyfriend showed up and caused a disturbance.

Nov. 28 – A Waupaca caller on Lindee Lane reported her daughter was intoxicated and was becoming disorderly.

Nov. 28 – A New London woman on Pine Ridge Drive reported an “older, junky-looking truck” was parked in her driveway. It was unoccupied and full of items.

Nov. 28 – ACR Repo reported they were repossessing a black 2008 Lancer.

Nov. 28 – A Clintonville woman on Country Trunk C reported the death of a man who had difficulty breathing.

Nov. 28 – A New London caller on Kanaman Road reported hearing a gunshot at 9:35 p.m. near her address.

Nov. 28 – ACR Repo reported they were repossessing a brown 2012 Infinity and a 2021 Heartland North Trail camper.

Nov. 28 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported there were trespassers wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts on her property “running around and trying to get chemicals in the house through the walls.”

Nov. 29 – A Waupaca man on Long Cove Drive reported a suspicious Buick LeSabre that had been parked there for more than a week.

Nov. 29 – A male caller reported a cabin was on fire.

Nov. 29 – A Waupaca woman on Ashley Court reported the neighbor’s dog was been barking “all hours of the day and night” for the past six months.

Nov. 29 – A Weyauwega woman on Galilee road reported her adjustable ladder was stolen.

Nov. 29 – A Greenfield man reported someone with a trailer was stealing things from a cabin.

Nov. 29 – Statewide Recovery reported they would be repossessing a red 2020 Jeep Renegade.

Nov. 29 – A Manawa caller on Spring Creek Road requested an officer to help with a disorderly woman who was throwing rocks at a vehicle. She was previously trying to destroy the inside of the vehicle.

Nov. 29 – Repossessors Plus reported they were repossessing a 2020 Ford Escape and a 2016 Chevy Cruze.

Nov. 30 – A Manawa caller on County Trunk BB reported a destroyed mailbox, along with evidence of tire tracks and car parts. The caller thought it was intentional.

Nov. 30 – The town of Caledonia requested extra patrol because of speeders in the area.

Nov. 30 – A Waupaca man on Mynard Road reported a suspicious unoccupied Buick parked in the roadway for the past two days.

Nov. 30 – An anonymous caller reported that a man was drinking alcohol in violation of his bond terms.

Nov. 30 – The New London School District reported a car passed by a school bus with its stop sign arm extended.

Nov. 30 – An anonymous caller reported the driver of a blue late-model Ford F350 was “exchanging stuff with random people at random times.” The truck drove to Crystal Road and then toward County Trunk E.

Dec. 1 – A Manawa caller on East View Drive reported her neighbor “cut the cord” on the caller’s Christmas decorations. They had an ongoing issue concerning the trees along their property line.

Dec. 1 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King reported a resident was potentially neglected by a staff member.

Dec. 1 – An Iola woman on Keatings Lake Drive reported her neighbor goes onto another person’s property to cut evergreens to decorate his driveway.

Dec. 2 – A Waupaca man on Main Street reported men using a walk-behind trench digger cut the internet line. The men did not speak English and left the area.

Dec. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Southwood Drive reported finding some suspicious things in a camper, possibly drugs.

Dec. 2 – A female caller reported her 90-year-old father was scammed out of $1,500.

Dec. 2 – A Fremont man on County Trunk W reported hearing gunshots and explosions from behind his house and said it was constant all day long.

Dec. 3 – A Manawa man on Diane Court reported a bullet went through his garage door.

Dec. 3 – A Manawa man on State Highway 22 reported the theft of a chainsaw from the Thersheree grounds. The theft was caught on video.

Dec. 3 – A New London caller on Oakwood Lane reported her ex was harassing, threatening and calling her names via Family Wizard, a co-parenting app for child custody situations.

Dec. 3 – The Chain O’ Lakes Bar & Grill reported four men were fighting inside.

There were many deer-auto collisions but not as many as the previous three weeks. Six controlled burns were called in. During the weekend snowfall there were numerous crashes and vehicles going into the ditch. One “loose bovine” was reported. A caller reported there were cows in her driveway and she “blocked them in” with her vehicle.
