Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 20
Dec. 18 – A Waupaca woman on County Park Lane requested an ambulance for a 62-year-old man who was breathing heavy and abnormal and not responding.
Dec. 18 – A 911 caller reported a house fire. There was a person in the house, smoke in the basement but no flames observed.
Dec. 18 – An anonymous caller reported a case of animal neglect at an address where cats and others animals were “running all over.”
Dec. 18 – An anonymous caller reported that goats and horses owned by a woman were not being fed regularly.
Dec. 18 – A Weyauwega caller on County Trunk AA named Mike reported he was pushed by a man named Dan.
Dec. 18 – A Weyauwega caller on Railroad Grade Road named Dan reported he had a customer named Mike who was rude.
Dec. 18 – A Waupaca caller on Berlin Street reported a man made suicidal comments.
Dec. 19 – A female caller reported that a man in an apartment was being loud and was not supposed to be living in that apartment.
Dec. 19 – An unknown caller reported a juvenile runaway. The youth grabbed a backpack, hiked a couple miles south on County Trunk G and went into the woods.
Dec. 19 – A New London caller on Stage Road reported there were trespassers in the woods shooting energy into her house using a “kaleidoscope machine.”
Dec. 20 – An Ogdensburg man on Cut Off Road reported he was at his cousin’s house and was “scammed out of money.”
Dec. 20 – An unknown caller reported a woman was dropped off at an intersection. She was sitting in the roadway with no shoes.
Dec. 20 – An unknown caller reported a tree contacting the power lines. There was no sparking or burning.
Dec. 20 – A caller requested a welfare check on a juvenile who was not at school and had made comments that she planned to hang herself.
Dec. 20 – A male caller reported the driver of a gray KIA was speeding, did a brake check and threw a soda at the caller’s vehicle.
Dec. 20 – A Stevens Point caller reported his brother and his girlfriend were intoxicated and the girlfriend was breaking things.
There were few deer-auto collisions during this period. One controlled burn was called in. A caller reported two dogs running loose on Country Trunk E and GG.
