Carla J. Boyer, age 71, of Waupaca, WI passed away peacefully under hospice care on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
She was born October 12, 1952, daughter of Arland and Fern (Baxter) Danielsen. After high school, Carla moved to Madison to continue her schooling and graduated from the Madison General Hospital Nursing Program as a registered nurse in 1975. She lived and worked most of her life in Madison. After retiring in 2013, Carla moved to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and warm temperatures. In 2017, she moved back to her hometown of Waupaca. Carla will be dearly missed by all of her loving family, friends, and especially her loving canine companion, Jax.
Carla is survived by her sister Mary (Danielsen) Koenig of Waupaca and Florida, and her niece Laura Anne Koenig of Holmen.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arland and Fern Danielsen, and her son Ryan Gingras.
A Celebration of Carla’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials are appreciated to the charity of one’s choice. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
