Tow ban in Waupaca County

Unsafe roads due to winter storm

Due to weather conditions, a tow ban in Waupaca County will be in effect at noon Friday.

The tow ban will be lifted when conditions improve to safely remove vehicles, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.

A tow ban is put in place when weather conditions make it unsafe to remove a crashed

or disabled vehicle until weather and road conditions improve. Occupants will be assisted with transportation to safe locations until arrangements can be made for removal of their vehicle, after the tow ban is lifted.
