Fradrich, Mary K. (Zemple)

Mary K. (Zemple) Fradrich was called to her eternal home on Friday, January 12, 2024, after a very brief illness.

Mary was born on July 5, 1943, the eldest child of Malvern and Katie (Schroeder) Zemple. She lived and worked in Manawa her entire life. Mary was united in marriage to Gary Fradrich on September 28, 1963. She lived on the property they purchased together until 2021 when she moved to town. Mary was known around the community for her many years of service as the school cook at St. Paul Lutheran. Baking bread and chocolate chip cookies for the students and staff was her mission. Mary was also actively involved at the Waupaca County Fair running the 4-H Food Stand for over 10 years. Kids were important to her.

Mary especially enjoyed her time with family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gary Fradrich and her parents, Malvern and Katie Zemple.
Mary will be greatly missed by her daughters: Kathy Sanderfoot (Dave Beyer), Jenny (Bruce) Scheller and Joanna Fradrich; grandchildren: Joshua (Clarissa) Fradrich, Jamie Sanderfoot, Katie (Greg) Cowling, David, Andrew, and Jacob Scheller; great grandchildren: Ethan, Alexandria, Isabella, Arianna Fradrich, Orric and Lati Sanderfoot and Miranda Cowling. She is further survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Dennis Frederick; brother and sister-in-law: Paul and Barb Zemple; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thank you to all the staff at ThedaCare Appleton, St Joseph Residence and the ThedaCare at Home Hospice team. You helped make her last days peaceful and restful.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Manawa and also at the church on Friday, January 19, 2024, 9:30 – 11:15am at St Paul Lutheran Church with Rev.
