Waupaca County Sheriff’s report March 24

  • March 18 – An anonymous person reported a house that he or she believed was caving in on itself.
  • March 18 – A male caller reported a man was trespassing into a house where the owner recently died. The man was not supposed to be there and was taking things from the premises.
  • March 18 – An anonymous caller reported a missing child. The child did not come home from school.
  • March 18 – The Waupaca County Sheriff Office was looking for a vehicle and person who fled from a contact stop.
  • March 18 – An anonymous caller reported an intoxicated man was at Wally World in King and would be departing soon on his four-wheeler.
  • March 18 – An unknown caller reported he believed his ex-wife was taking prescribed medication that was possibly stolen.
  • March 18 – Pine Manor Health Care in Embarrass reported a missing person who did not return from their leave.
  • March 18 – A Clintonville man on Eulrich Road reported trespassers on his land with flashlights.
  • March 19 – Northport Convenience Store reported a person entered the store, paid for some items but did not pay for $63 of fuel and the driver took off in a gray Toyota.
  • March 19 – An unknown caller reported a blue truck drove into her yard and around her house.
  • March 19 – A person attending the town of Lebanon board meeting reported there were numerous complaints of speeding traffic on Tank Road and County Trunk T. The person requested extra patrol.
  • March 19 – An Ogdensburg woman on Poverty Hill Road reported her neighbor was threatening her and it was an ongoing issue.
  • March 19 – A Waupaca man on Columbia Street reported three juveniles kicking down mailboxes.
  • March 19 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
  • March 19 – An Embarrass woman on High Street reported her neighbors were outside yelling at each other.
  • March 19 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk EE reported he was speaking to his 8-year-old son who said the caller’s ex-wife and his ex-in-laws wanted to murder him.
  • March 19 – An Iola woman on Valley Road reported a fire in the woods.
  • March 20 – A Waupaca man on McAllister Road requested an ambulance for a 69-year-old man who was unresponsive, had shallow breathing and unfocused eyes and had drank a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka.
  • March 20 – CAP Services requested a welfare check on a man with dementia that was calling everyone about his new furnace.
  • March 20 – A Waupaca man on McAllister Road reported he owns a storage unit and for the past few days, a silver four-door car was parked near the unit with a man sleeping inside.
  • March 20 – Rawhide Youth Services reported two juvenile runaways. A youth told staff that the runaways were planning on finding a hiding spot and then making their way to New London after nightfall. They also reported a youth with suicidal ideations that had a belt around his neck.
  • March 21 –A 911 caller reported a house fire on Brandy Creek Road.
  • March 21 – Pups Irish Pub in New London reported a woman was refusing to leave the premises. The caller suspected she was homeless.
  • March 21 – A Manawa woman on Union Street reported a suspicious man was at her address and she locked herself in her bedroom.
  • March 21 – Dialysis Care in Waupaca reported a man walking around the building and trying to get into the vehicles of their patients.
  • March 22 – An Ogdensburg man on Pruess Road reported his girlfriend was threatened by his brother.
  • March 22 – A Waupaca man on Pryse Drive reported a case of trespassing on his property.
  • March 22 – Royalton Station reported a gas drive-off valued at $31. The vehicle was a gold-colored Chevy Malibu.
  • March 22 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a youth hit two staff members the night before.
  • March 22 – A 911 caller requested an ambulance for a man who fell out of his wheelchair which fell out of a minivan. The man was lying alongside the road in an awkward position.
  • March 22 – A Fremont man on Wolf River Drive reported his wife punched him and threw things at him.
  • March 22 – A Clintonville woman on Swamp Road reported receiving a suspicious package with face mask inside.
  • March 22 – Canadian National railroad reported a man dressed in all black with a backpack was trespassing on the railroad tracks.
  • March 22 – A Fremont man on County Trunk H reported being harassed by a woman.
  • March 23 – A Marion man on Horn Road reported his neighbors shot and damaged his LP tank while target practicing.
  • March 24 – A Waupaca woman on Indian Valley Road reported the death of a 54-year-old man. It was a falling accident.
  • March 24 – A Manawa woman on Depot Street reported receiving harassing text messages from another woman.
  • March 24 – A Manawa woman on Grove Street reported her tires were slashed by her sister’s boyfriend and her neighbor captured it on video.
  • March 24 – A Clintonville man on County Trunk O reported someone stole his trailer and now it was listed on Facebook in New London.
  • March 24 – An Iola woman on Adams Street reported her son was making comments that he was going to kill himself.
  • There were few deer-auto collisions during this period. Sixty controlled burns were called in with many of them over the weekend. A Clintonville man reported a swan in the middle of the road. An anonymous caller reported a case of neglected horses. A Weyauwega caller reported a Great Dane on the loose. Another Weyauwega caller reported a horse on the loose. A male caller reported hitting a turkey with his Ford F150. An insurance salesman reported being bitten by a dog.
