Hauser, Annabelle Barbara

Annabelle Barbara Hauser, age 90 of Bear Creek, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother

was called home to Jesus on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Our dear mother, Annabelle, was born on May 15, 1933 in Birnamwood, WI, daughter to the late Harold & Mary (Cummings) Meverden. The love of polka music brought Annabelle together with her future husband, Marvin, as they met when she attended a polka dance where he was performing. Annabelle was united in marriage to Marvin Hauser at St. Williams Catholic Church in Eland, WI on November 8, 1952. The couple raised nine children together, while Annabelle worked on the farm alongside her husband for many years, until they retired in 1993. All the while, she supported her husband in his music. As a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa, Annabelle was active with the Ladies Aid. She had a special devotion to Mary our Immaculate Mother and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. She was blessed with grace and strength, love of family, and a deep spiritual thirst that can only be quenched by the most precious blood of Jesus. Annabelle was a wonderful mother who was always there when her family needed her. Her children could always depend on her having baked goods and hearty meals when they got home from school, as she was a great cook. The love she had for her family was paramount, along with her great faith. Annabelle will be remembered for her selfless love and always putting others first.

Annabelle is survived by her children: Gary (Mary Ann) Hauser; Mike (Connie) Hauser; Mark (Lori) Hauser; Holly (Wes) Billington; Mary (Larry) Faucher; John (Kim) Hauser; Theresa (Paul) Jahnke; & Jane (Steve) Posselt

“Our mom – What a wonderful person. We have been fortunate to have her in our lives for many years. We were praying for a few more, but God had a different plan. Our mom was a saint in our eyes, and she gave us so much. One of the things we are most thankful for is the love of God that she shared with us. She had such selfless love, always putting others first. Mom, it is so hard to let you go. We are going to miss you on this earth so much, but we know your spirit is in Heaven, and we plan to see you there someday. We love you so much, Mom.”
