April 22 – A Texas caller requested a welfare check on his mother-in-law, a woman in her 60s, as he hard not heard from her in a while. She was later found dead.
April 22 – B&B Basement repair in Readfield reported the company was scammed out of two payroll checks valued at $4,000.
April 22 – Meals on Wheels requested a welfare check on a man who was not answering the door.
April 22 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile was refusing to return back to campus.
April 22 – Outagamie Sheriff’s Office reported a suspicious man was walking on State Highway 76 for a couple hours, went to the house of a Bear Creek woman as asked where was the Fox Valley. He seemed disoriented.
April 22 – A male caller reported a boat from Camp Onaway came loose and was floating around.
April 22 – A Clintonville caller reported a tractor and car collision.
April 22 – A New London woman on Madden road reported she believed she was wrongly evicted and needed help dealing with the homeowner.
April 22 – A Waupaca man on Woodland Circle reported his grandmother was trying to hit him.
April 22 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King reported a resident claimed a CNA. hit him on the back of the head a few days earlier.
April 22 – A Manawa man on Pond Street reported two fires on the side of the road and he spotted a juvenile wearing a headlamp and dressed in camouflage running away. The fire was not out of control.
April 23 – A Fremont man on State Highway 110 reported the sound of shotgun fire coming from within the village limits.
April 23 – Milwaukee police relayed information form a nurse that an area man had threatening behavior and his wife was afraid.
April 23 – A Marion woman on Missall Lane reported she had a foster child out of control who was throwing and smashing things.
April 23 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
April 23 – A Waupaca woman on King Road reported she stopped to help a motorcyclist who tipped over his bike. When he spoke to her she smelled alcohol on his breath.
April 24 – A 911 caller reported a fire in the ditch on the south side of State Highway 10.
April 24 – An Ogdensburg woman on Poverty Hill Road reported a neighbor was trespassing on her property.
April 24 – Wisconsin Veterans Home in King reported a resident was alleging physical abuse from a staff member.
April 24 – A New London man on Ferry Street reported he was denied unemployment benefits because it was claimed that he was working a job in Waupaca.
April 24 – An Iola man on County Trunk C reported a suspicious dark gray truck parked alongside the road. When his child’s mother approached the truck it took off westbound.
April 24 – A Wautoma man reported his vehicle was broken into and prescription medications and phone chargers were missing.
April 24 – An anonymous caller reported there was noise coming from a room and a man said, “I’m going to beat you to a pulp.”
April 25 – Wally’s World Tavern in King reported a suspicious dark blue, “all beat up” Chevy Malibu that was left there overnight.
April 25 – An Iola woman on Erickson Road reported her intoxicated husband left because she didn’t like the way she was talking. She thought he might be going to a friend’s house.
April 25 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile left a note that said, “I hate myself that’s why I am doing this,” and was now walking down Rawhide Road with a staffer following.
April 25 – A Manawa woman on Cemetery Road reported an abandoned vehicle that has been sitting at her address for a few weeks.
April 25 – An Iola man on State Highway 161 reported he might be a victim of fraud. He got a phone call from the Social Security service and he gave them all of his personal information.
April 25 – An Iola woman on Water Street reported her mother might be living with an abusive partner and that child pornography might be involved.
April 26 – A Bear Creek woman on Symco Road reported a man attempted to get into one of their vehicles. When confronted, he walked off.
April 26 – A Waupaca man on Military Road reported he received a threatening text message that said they would “send a hit man” if he did not pay them some money.
April 26 – A Clintonville woman on Morning Glory Drive reported the smell of marijuana at an address she provided.
April 26 – A 911 caller reported an overdose. A 34-year-old man was unresponsive and breathing.
April 27 – A Weyauwega woman on Tri County Road reported a 49-year-old man fell over 12 feet and received a gash on his forehead.
April 27 – A Waupaca caller on Erickson Road reported someone stole a checkbook from her vehicle.
April 27 – A Waupaca woman on Larson Road reported a house fire on Larson Road.
April 27 – A Waupaca caller on Crystal Lake Road reported he went fishing and when he came back, his uncle “threw a fit” and he blocked the caller’s truck in the driveway and he could not leave.
April 27 – A Clintonville man on McKinley Avenue reported a fight with some neighbors and that he and his friend “were beat up.”
April 27 – An unknown caller requested an ambulance for a 37-year-old woman who was feeling very shaky and believed she may have been drugged.

April 28 – A Marion caller on Meyer Street reported a man had been drinking at his house and now would not leave.
There was an increase in deer-auto collisions during this period. Four controlled burns were called in. There were many reported of suspicious men walking along roads throughout the county. A Waupaca woman reported a German shepherd running loose in the road. A snapping turtle required assistance crossing County Trunk X. A Waupaca woman reported a man on a motorcycle chasing two horses. A Waupaca caller reported a chicken-killing Siberian husky was “at large.”
