Crawford, Cynthia Sue

Cynthia Sue (Jannusch) Crawford, age 61, passed peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024

in hospice care after a short battle with cancer with family and friends by her side.

She was born in Clintonville, WI on January 14, 1963, daughter of the late Leo and Arbella (Ruch) Jannusch.

Cindy graduated from Clintonville High School in 1981. Later that same year, she married Randy Ader. In 1984 they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and went their separate ways. In 1995, Cindy married Gerry Crawford. She resided in Nevada for 30 years, working at several Casinos and later at Passion Party, until 2014 when she moved back to Wisconsin.

Cindy had a great passion for art, and she was an amazing artist. She created many beautiful paintings among many other art pieces. She loved to create amazing Halloween costumes. Her love for travel took her to many places including Hawaii, California, Utah, and Florida.

She is survived by her two sisters: Margaret Jannusch – Seattle, Washington, Rebecca Leavitt (Jannusch) – Clintonville, Wisconsin; two brothers: James Jannusch – West Allis, Wisconsin, Danial (Lucy) Jannusch – Marion, Wisconsin; sisters-in-law: Cindy (Bree) Jannusch, Cheryl (Gast) Jannusch; nephews: Jeremiah Leavitt, Mike (Chelsey) Jannusch; nieces: Meghan (Andy) Heimen, Melissa Jannusch; five great nephews and three great nieces; special friends: Michelle Huhnstock, Crystal and Andrae, Amy, Cindy, Lori, Jill and so many more that were so very supportive of her difficult time.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her parents, and two brothers: Steven and Douglas Jannusch.

Cindy was a beautiful soul, kind and thoughtful to all. She will be sadly missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00PM at her sister Becky’s residence (W8637 Rustic Dr. Clintonville, WI).
