Plover unveils new website

The Plover Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has a new website at comeovertoplover.com that highlights tings to do for both visitors and residents.

Focus on events, local attractions

The Plover Area Convention and Visitors Bureau unveiled its new website.

The website seeks to inform and inspire visitors to come to Plover.

The digital portal at comeovertoplover.com offers visitors a journey into the heart of the Plover area.

“The experience a visitor has interacting with out website will be completely transformed through our new website,” PACVB Executive Director Malorie Paine said. “Our website has life to it, and it really captures the heartbeat of the Plover area.”

The goal of the new website is to better connect visitors and residents with all the incredible attractions, dining options and accommodations in the Plover area, Paine said.

The PACVB partnered with Simpleview, a tourism software company that develops CRM and CMS systems for destinations around the globe.

“Simpleview has delivered more than a website; they have delivered a digital experience for our visitors,” Paine said. “You only get one chance to make a great first impression, and our new website will do that perfectly.”

With an array of user-friendly features and content, the platform helps redefine the way travelers explore and experience the Plover area.

“We’re not just focused on visitors,” Paine said. “We want our website to be used by locals to discover new things to do in the area, be inspired to get out and explore trails they haven’t been on before, find a new restaurant they love or attend an event they may not have otherwise known about.”

Website highlights

Interactive Trip Planner: From must-see attractions to off-the-beaten-path gems, discover experiences tailored just each visitor. The website’s Things to Do tab features a filtering system to allow visitors to discover the type of experiences they’re looking for.

Up-to-Date Events and Activities: A dynamic events calendar, features a diverse array of festivals, performances, recreational activities and community classes. Whether a visitor to the website is a culture enthusiast, outdoor adventurer or culinary connoisseur, hey can find something to do in the Plover area.

Local Insights and Insider Tips: The PACVB will showcase the Plover area through the eyes of locals. With insider tips and recommendations from seasoned locals, visitors will be able to uncover hidden culinary gems to lesser-known trails through the eyes of those who know the Plover area best.
