Service disrupted at courthouse

Waupaca County Information Technology staff responded to a network interruption that resulted in an outage on the morning of Tuesday, June 18.

According to a press release, county IT staff took steps to ensure the security of network systems. They also brought in third-party specialists to assist in investigating the nature and source of this disruption, assess its impact on county systems, and begin restoring the county’s systems.

County spokesperson Jesse Cuff said 911 and emergency response services are isolated and were not affected.

“As our investigation into this matter is ongoing, we are unable to provide further details at this time,” Cuff said in the release.
