W-F boys drop first three games

Almond-Bancroft, Wautoma and Clintonville picked up recent boys’ basketball wins over Weyauwega-Fremont.
The Indians fell to Almond-Bancroft 72-38 Dec. 3, dropped a 91-59 decision to Wautoma Nov. 30 in the home opener and came out on the short end of a 77-31 score Nov. 27 in Clintonville.
A-B 72, W-F 38
The Eagles outscored the Indians 31-9 in the first half and 41-29 in the second half.
Drew Vandervest and Kolden Baehman led the Indians with nine points each, while Ethan Kollock led Almond-Bancroft with 16.
Wautoma 91, W-F 59
The Hornets led 45-21 at halftime and outscored the home team 46-38 in the second half.
Baehman led the Indians with 14 points and Wautoma’s Alex Hendrickson led all scorers with 21 points.
Clintonville 77, W-F 31
Aiden Polzin led four Truckers in double figures with 20 points.
Clintonville led 41-16 at halftime and outscored the Indians 35-15 in the second half.
Baehman led the Indians with 10 points.
The Indians will open Central Wisconsin Conference East Division play at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at home against Shiocton.
