Man dies after being pulled from pond near Fremont
A 37-year-old Fremont man drowned in a pond Sunday, Aug. 11.
Shortly before 4 p.m., a 911 caller reported a man was drowning in a pond behind a home in the town of Caledonia.
First responders started CPR, and paramedics transported Daniel C. Lewis by ambulance to ThedaCare in Neenah.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
