From early breweries to beer barons
Jerry Janiszewski will present “The History of Beer Making in Wisconsin” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Holly Center, 321 S. Main St.
He will share the story of beer making in the state and the beer barons who made it into an industry.
With local breweries opening throughout the state of Wisconsin, interest in beer making and home brewing grows every year.
However, beer making has been a part of Wisconsin’s history since its early years.
Janiszewski will also speak about Waupaca’s brewing past.
He is vice president of the American Breweriana Association, a home brewer and also a board member of both the Museum of Beer and Brewing and the National Brewery Museum in Potosi.
