Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 16

• March 13 – A truck was reported stolen from the N2900 block of County Trunk QQ, Waupaca.

• March 13 – Waupaca County 911 received a call from a woman who was crying and yelling incoherently. Dispatch was unable to trace the call or the number.

• March 13 – A 78-year-old Waupaca caller reported her TV began to smoke. She said she unplugged the set and would wait in her garage for police.

• March 13 – Bear Creek caller reported he and his daughter were receiving harassing phone calls.

• March 12 – Waupaca post office requested a welfare check on a man whose mail had been piling up for three weeks.

• March 12 – Waupaca caller requested a police officer to speak to her son who she said was not listening, was being sassy and was mad at her for taking his CDs away.

• March 12 – New London caller said her daughter’s friend was threatening to harm himself and had told other friends he would be dead by morning because of an argument he had with his parents.

• March 12 – Waupaca caller said a woman was in their driveway and had walked across town because she was afraid to go home and believed she would be killed.

• March 11 – Caller from the N5800 block of County Trunk O, Manawa, reported someone hit their mailbox and left behind a large truck part.

• March 11 – A woman came into the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office and reported someone stole $178 worth of rugs. She said they had been delivered to another address.

• March 10 – An overdose was reported in Weyauwega.

• March 7 – Caller from the 400 block of Grove Street, Manawa, reported being out of propane fuel and requested energy assistance.

• March 6 – Caller from Bartel Road, Waupaca, reported the potholes were making it hazardous to drive on his road.

• March 6 – Clintonville caller reported someone on County Trunk C was burning rubber or tar on his junk pile.
