Barnhart, Janice (McIntyre) Koch

Janice (McIntyre) Koch Barnhart, of Waupaca, age 82, was received by her Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 13, 2020. She led an eventful and full life right until the end.

She was born to Keith and Ann (Moss) McIntyre on April 23, 1938 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point. She was the matriarch of five generations, mother to nine children. Because of that she was into everything related to kids. Sunday school teacher, PTA, 4H leader, Girl Scout leader, cheerleader at her children’s sporting events. That was most important, giving her family a legacy of love.

She is survived by her children: Deborah McLlarky, Lori Arneson, Cindy Nowlin, Mike Koch, Alan Koch, Wendy Sellier, Brian Koch and Kelly Koch; step children: Diane, Bill and Pam; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; sister: Judy Dain, brother: Jim McIntyre; numerous nieces, nephews and “adopted family”, former sons and daughters-in-law. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Marie Lewellen, husbands, Terry McLlarky, Ed Koch and Red Barnhart, and sister, Joan Marie Best.

The Memorial Service will be on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Victory Church, E3443 Apple Tree Lane, Waupaca. Please practice Covid proactive choices. Thank you to Sheboygan County Hospice for their help. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
