Alleva, Natalie J.

Natalie J. Alleva passed away peacefully on May 4, 2022 in Rancho Mirage, California.

Born in Norristown, PA on January 22, 1930, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret (Del Collo) Alleva. Natalie was raised in a happy Italian-American home in Norristown, PA as the second of six siblings. She graduated from Drexel University and enjoyed a successful career as a paralegal in Philadelphia, New York City, and Los Angeles. In New York, she developed a life-long love of theater, was an avid reader, and loved to travel. Natalie was a wonderful and precise cook, and the recipes she discovered and developed have become family classics. She was also known as a world-class board game and bridge player among her 18 nieces and nephews, who anticipated and appreciated her visits with unsurpassed enthusiasm.

Natalie was the cherished sister to Peggy Alleva Sturm, and she spent many visits with Peggy and her husband, Jack, and the family in Manawa, Wis. Natalie is also survived by another loving sister, Bette Alleva Wojciechowski; brother Bob (Betty Ann) Alleva; sisters-in-law, Peggy Alleva and Joanne Alleva. Her niece, Nikki Sturm, took loving care of Aunt Nat during her final years. Other nieces and nephews are Brian (Carol Ann) Alleva, Dr. David (Karen) Alleva, Diane Alleva (Mark) Caceres, Lynn Alleva (Jeff) Lilley, Beth Francis, Susan (Phillip) D’Egidio, Patti Wojciechowski, Cheryl (Fred) Wojciechowski, Ed (Merry) Wojciechowski, Michael Alleva, Dena Alleva (Butch) Boettcher, Marianne Alleva (Chris) Hoover, Dr. Quentin (Allison) Alleva, Cheryl Sturm, Paul (Leisa) Sturm, John Sturm Jr, and nephew-in-law David Hamilton. Natalie is also survived by many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Dr. John Alleva and Dr. Fred Alleva; her brother-in-law Dr. Ed Wojciechowski, niece Pam Wojciechowski Hamilton, and nephew-in-law Alan Francis.
