Waupaca County sheriff’s report Nov. 6

• Oct. 31 – A Waupaca caller on Grandview Road reported his boat was stolen and he knew who took it.

• Oct. 31 – A call phone caller reported seeing something floating on Dake Lake near the Cleghorn Road side of the lake. It was 50 feet wide and long. She thought might be a gas slick.

• Oct. 31 – A New London woman on State Highway 45 requested an officer to respond to an address where her mother lives. Two men knocked on the door armed with guns.

• Oct. 31 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported people were trespassing at her house 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• Oct. 31 – A Waupaca man on Larson Road reported contractor fraud. He was double charged for the square foot amount of asphalt. They also promised a 3-inch depth and it was barely that.

• Oct. 31 – A New London woman on Ferry Street reported her ex took her truck key and was refusing to return it.

• Oct. 31 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.

• Oct. 31 – An unknown caller reported ribs could be seen on a white horse near the roadside. It was near Laude Road.

• Oct. 31 – A caller reported his 35-year-old daughter was “on a rampage destroying stuff in the house.”

• Oct. 31 – A cell phone caller reported there was a heavyset woman in a red shirt and shorts going door-to-door asking people for a ride to Oklahoma.

• Oct. 31 – An Iola woman on King Olavs Lane reported she locked out a man who does not live there and he was trying to get back inside.

• Oct. 31 – A female caller requested an ambulance for a knife wound. They were carving pumpkins.

• Nov. 1 – A Clintonville caller on Cass Road requested an ambulance for an unresponsive 54-year-old woman. She was breathing and snoring but would not wake up.

• Nov. 1 – A Scandinavia caller on Poverty Hill Road reported someone shot an arrow into the side of his trailer.

• Nov. 1 – Alliant Energy in Marion reported a gas line was struck and blowing gas. They requested traffic control while trying to contain the leak.

• Nov. 1 – A Waupaca caller on Amy Street reported her neighbors were trespassing again.

• Nov. 1 – A male caller reported his aunt’s boyfriend was harassing him and would not leave.

• Nov. 1 – A Fremont caller on Klemp Road reported the illegal dumping of a bike, trusses, tires, heaters and garbage.

• Nov. 1 – A Waupaca valler on Duvenick Lane requested to speak with an officer about her ex-husband. He harassed her in the past. He was doing better but now “seems to be spiraling.”

• Nov. 2 – A Weyauwega caller on County Trunk F reported her ex took her phone, a jewelry box, a paper umbrella and a PO Box combination slip.

• Nov. 2 – A Fremont caller on Marsh Road reported a man had been hunting on his property for the past two years without permission.

• Nov. 2 – Tomorrow’s Children of Waupaca reported two juvenile female runaways.

• Nov. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Royalton Street reported threatening text messages: “You just got added to the list, thanks for ditching me.”

• Nov. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Covered Bridge Road reported the wife of her ex-husband was harassing her over his phone for the past hour.

• Nov. 3 – A Waupaca woman on Channel Park Drive requested an ambulance for an 81-year-old man with a pulse but not breathing.

• Nov. 3 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk X reported his drunken wife would not leave the house.

• Nov. 4 – A cell phone caller reported she thinks her friend was kidnapped. A person approached her asking if she wanted a ride and they got into a vehicle together.

• Nov. 5 – A Scandinavia woman reported someone drove through her fence the night before.

• Nov. 5 – Bear Creek Citgo reported a gas drive-off valued at $55. The driver was a female wearing a stocking cap with a mask pulled up to her eyes. She drove a black Chevy Malibu.

• Nov. 5 – A Clintonville woman on County Trunk D reported an ongoing problem with her neighbor’s dogs coming onto her property.

• Nov. 5 – A man reported that he was at Cruz Inn in New London and was upset he was given the wrong drink. The bartenders asked him to leave but he refused.

• Nov. 5 – Innovative Services in Weyauwega reported a man acting up, screaming and slamming things on a table.

• Nov. 6 – A Waupaca woman on Parfreyville Road reported someone trying to break into her house. She saw the shape of a person and the door opened. The person ran off.

• Nov. 6 – An unknown caller reported his brother was off his medication and “is going crazy.” He was acting manic and trying to start a fight.

• During this period, the whitetail deer rut was underway and there were many deer-auto collisions. Many injured deer needed to be dispatched. There were a few controlled burns. One caller reported striking a turkey with his Ford F150.
