Bulldog Gridiron Club

The Bulldog Gridiron Club, established in 2007, has the mission to promote the general health, good sportsmanship, and skills related to football in New London School District.

The Bulldog Gridiron Club Board includes six members. The president is Doug Wunderlich, the vice president is Wade Evans, the secretary is Jason Schlueter, the treasurer is Chad Degal, and two board members are Scott Degal and Michael Sullivan.

This charitable organization benefits all levels of New London’s football youth, in K-12.

Some of the different ways the Bulldog Gridiron Club has helped the New London football program include purchasing the goal posts for the new bulldog stadium and purchasing the new scoreboard for the New London Middle School football field.

They also purchased tackling dummies and an emergency medical cart for the New London High School football program. Other ways they have helped is in giving scholarships to football players, sports equipment for 7-12 grades, paid the coaches salary and provided transportation and meals for the New London football program.

Without your help, the Bulldog Gridiron Club would not be able to achieve these goals. You can help the Bulldog Gridiron Club by attending their tailgate parties before every home game where they raise money to support the football program. Also you can attend the 3rd annual Bulldogs Gridiron Club Golf Outing this Saturday, Aug. 7 at Shamrock Heights Golf and Supper Club. This fundraiser costs $60 and includes a four-person scramble, hole events, raffles and food to follow golf. Registration is at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start is at 9 a.m. Please come join us and support the Bulldog Gridiron Club and New London Football.
