The Waupaca Parks and Recreation Department is offering a volleyball program for girls in grades 3-6 that live in the School District of Waupaca.
Registrations are being accepted through 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10. Forms are available at the department office at 407 School St., Waupaca.
The cost is $30 for residents of the city of Waupaca or towns of Farmington, Dayton and Waupaca; or $95 for other municipalities, including the towns of Lind, Belmont and Lanark.
Grades 5-6 will meet from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and grades 3-4 from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays. The program will run from Sept. 20 to Oct. 27 at the Waupaca Recreation Center.
The program will focus on the basics of the game, skills training and recreational enjoyment of the sport.
