Lehmann, Marcia

On March 8, 2011, Marcia Carole Lehmann, 62, died in the comfort of her Austin, Tx. home. Marcia was born on Dec 22,1948 in New London WI. She graduated from Emanuel Lutheran Grade School and New London High School. She attended Uw -Oshkosh and graduated from the Harvard School of Business. She retired from her job as Project Manager at the Austin offices of IBM in 2010. She is survived by her husband David Walmer and his daughter Nicole St. Clair, her son Christopher Popke and her grandson Aiden Vuke-Popke. She is also survived by her mother Elaine Lehman, and siblings Nancy Lehmann, James Lehman and Thomas Lehman. Whether she was nursing a wounded duckling back to health or working through the legislative process to restore ground water level in central Wisconsin Marcia’s love for all of God’s creation was very evident. Humorous birthday cards, gifts wrapped so beautifully you didn’t want to open them, her laughter, wit, humility and the warm sparkle she brought to every gathering of family and friends will be deeply missed.
