Teams interested in participating in Clintonville’s fall couples volleyball league can start signing up now by submitting the $25 registration fee to the department to hold a spot in the league.
Fees should be submitted to City Hall, 50 10th Street by the initial deadline of August 26th, 4:30 pm.
Players in this league must be out of high school, or be of such an age, that the school class they would have been in, has completed high school. The team name, if known, along with the name, address and phone number of the team captain should also be submitted. Teams are asked to designate the division they prefer to play in. If there are enough teams Division A will have no restrictions on playing, while in Division B men will not be allowed to serve overhand or spike. Once the number of teams are known and the schedule worked out the total team fee will be determined and the teams will be advised of it.
The $25 initial fee will be applied toward the total team fee. Officials are needed for this league as well as the women’s and men’s leagues that start after the first of the year. Interested persons are encouraged to contact the department at 823-7660.
