Cresson, Jules J.

Jules J. Cresson, age 59, of Scandinavia, died Tuesday, July 24th, 2012 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point surrounded by his family. Jules was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 25, 1952, the son of the late Jules and Elaine (Ballou) Cresson. He married Mary Trzebiatowski on Dec 5, 2003 in Scandinavia. Jules worked as a foreman for the Green Bay Western Railroad for 22 years and the Waupaca Foundry for 17 years. He enjoyed going to the Scandinavaia Viking’s Baseball games, golfing, hunting, bowling, shooting pool, sitting by pitfires; listening to the oldies, horseshoes, trips up north, watching his children at sporting events and spending time with family and friends. He was also a devoted Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He is survived by his Wife, Mary Cresson of Scandinavia; daughter, Nicole (Jeff) Trotta of Waunakee; son, Ryan Cresson of Appleton. Jules is also survived by a grandson, Henry Trotta; brother, Terry (Brenda) Cresson of Scandinavia; sister, Kim Cresson of Weyauwega; half brother, Fred (Margaret) Cresson of Shiloh, Illinois. Step children, James (Sherri) Lashua, Tammy (Matt Marcy) Louison and Laura (Mike) Karolus all of Iola and 4 step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Davit and brother, Dennis Caggiano. A Memorial Service was held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 28th, with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. A Memorial Visitation was held at the church Friday 4-7 PM and on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery in the Township of Scandinavia, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.
