Trolleys on the loose

Starting May 6, anyone who finds eight trolleys hidden in New London can enter to win a prize.

Hidden in eight businesses around New London are replica trolleys. Pick up an entry form, find all eight trolleys, return the completed form to the museum by June 6 and be entered to win a great prize.

The contest is part of the New London Public Museum’s summer exhibit and event New London Remembered.

Prizes will be given away on Saturday, June 8, at the New London Remembered Trolley Tour. There is no need to be present to win.

Prizes include a basket full of spa goodies including a gift certificate from Wholistic Spa, a great “Preserve Your Family History” kit, and a Mad Dog & Merrill picnic basket.

Tickets for the New London Public Museum’s New London Remembered Trolley Tour are on sale now. The Trolley Tour celebrates the opening of NLPM’s newest exhibit New London Remembered; The Changing Look of a Midwestern Town.

Due to limited seating on the trolley, tickets should be purchased in advance.

Trolley Tours on Saturday, June 8, start at 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors (65+), and $2 for children (15 and under). Tickets may be purchased at the New London Public Museum.
