Five injured in crash

Five people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at 1:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, on U.S. Highway 10 in rural Weyauwega.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, a small dump truck pulling a trailer loaded with a tractor and a skid loader was eastbound on U.S. 10 when it rear-ended a tractor pulling a manure spreader.

The tractor had slowed to make a left turn.

A third vehicle, a car-hauler semi truck, then made slight contact with the dump truck’s trailer.

Five people who were inside the dump truck all suffered injuries. The driver, Michael Mullin, 18, and a passenger, Kalvin Carcamo, 25, both of Minnesota, were seriously injured and flown by ThedaStar and Eagle 3 helicopters to a hospital.

The other passengers of the dump truck suffered minor injuries

The eastbound lanes of U.S. 10 were closed throughout the afternoon and into the night during the Wisconsin State Patrol investigation.
