Wolves lose at home

In a Central Wisconsin Conference match-up between the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers and the Manawa Wolves, the hosting Wolves suffered a 68-18 loss, on Friday, January 30.

Siri Zeinert led all scoring for this first half of the game, racking up 11 points for the Chargers, including three 3-pointers. 
Autumn Ferg, Ashlee Strebe and Alexis Wepner each scored 2 points for Manawa.

With the Chargers up 38-7 at the half, the teams headed to the locker room.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood proved to be more than Manawa could handle, outscoring the Wolves, 30-11 in the second half of play.

Erika Alwes put 7 points on the board for the Chargers, while Strebe added 4 for the Wolves to finish the game with a final score of 68-18.

Micah Nier led the scoring for Wittenberg-Birnamwood with 12, followed by Zeinert with 11 and Taylor Nier with 7. 

Strebe topped the scoring for the Wolves with 6, followed by Ferg with 4.

Manawa will travel to Keshena on Tuesday, February 3, to take on the Menominee Indians in the non-conference match-up.
