Motorists need to plan ahead for Monday.
Crews will close State Highway 54 between the Royalton railroad overpass and Jeanne Street in New London at 6 a.m. Monday, July 25.
During the closure traffic will be detoured via State 22/110, State 22, and US.. 45. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel.
The closure is necessary for culvert replacements.
Work is scheduled for completion before the end of the day Tuesday, Aug. 2. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
