• Aug. 30 – A woman stopped in the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office to report a person who jumps out at vehicles on County Trunk K near the Methodist church.

• Aug. 30 – A Waupaca caller on Mead Road requested a welfare check on a man he had not spoke to in a week. He said the woman who lives with the man “is driving him crazy.”

• Aug. 30 – A Manawa caller on Cemetery Road reported having ongoing issues with a neighbor after a road rage incident.

• Aug. 30 – A Waupaca caller on Sue Lane reported receiving threats from their granddaughter’s boyfriend.

• Aug. 30 – A Kimberly woman reported a runaway foster child.

• Aug. 30 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk QQ reported a suspicious spray-painted Nissan Pathfinder that had been in the same spot for a few days and “is acting strange, beginning to scare the neighbors.”

• Aug. 30 – A female caller reported the neighbor kids were in her back yard. She was not home but had it on camera.

• Aug. 30 – A Fremont caller on Bayou Road reported she bailed out her son after he tried to kill his girlfriend by strangling her. He was now sending his sister text messages about taking his mother’s life. She was afraid to go home.

• Aug. 31 – A female caller reported her friend was raped at a local campsite.

• Aug. 31 – A Waupaca caller on Conifer Drive reported a loud truck was doing donuts at the County Inn.

• Aug. 31 – An anonymous caller from Marion reported an address where a person was being physically abused.

• Aug. 31 – A Marion caller on Ramsdell Street reported a suspicious man was posing as a Spectrum salesman wearing a Spectrum shirt, Spectrum hat and a neck band with a Spectrum logo and photo of himself. He wore glasses, was “scruffy looking” and had long hair.

• Sept. 1 – A female caller reported there were goose hunters on the river near her property and her house was getting hit with shotgun pellets.

• Sept. 1 – Fremont RV Campground reported that a person started a fire in the toilet of the men’s bathroom and the toilet exploded.

• Sept. 1 – The DNR reported receiving an email about a Malibu Wakesetter violating the enhanced wake ordinance on Long Lake.

• Sept. 1 – A New London woman on Ostrander Road requested extra patrol by the bridge because buses from Wolf River Trips were speeding in that area.

• Sept. 1 – A Menasha man reported hunters were shooting wood ducks in a marsh. The season for wood ducks is not open yet.

• Sept. 1 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident was missing $180 from her room.

• Sept. 1 – A Waupaca caller on Grandview Road reported a suspicious banging on her door.

• Sept. 1 – A Clintonville caller on Brandy Creek Road reported a person wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans was in her backyard. She could hear footsteps on the deck.

• Sept. 1 – A female caller reported the death of a 76-year-old man.

• Sept. 1 – A Marion caller reported she was out for a run and was bitten by a black-and-white dog.

• Sept. 1 – An unknown caller from State Highway 110 and White Lake reported an employee was suicidal and creating a disturbance.

• Sept. 1 – A Marion man on Main Street reported a man pushed trees and stones into his field.

• Sept. 1 – A Waupaca caller on Haase Road reported her husband assaulted her.

• Sept. 1 – A Marion caller on Garfield Avenue reported his neighbor said a person was trying to “get in through the patio.”

• Sept. 3 – A Clintonville caller on County Trunk I reported a suspicious man walked into his driveway and knocked on his door. He was carrying a few bags and had a beard.

• Sept. 3 – A Stevens Point caller reported a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans was in her driveway carrying plastic Wal-Mart bags. He was not fully coherent, possibly on drugs.

• Sept. 4 – A Suamico caller reported his ex-girlfriend was coming over. He had his doors locked.

• Sept. 4 – A New London caller on Jennings Road reported that sometime during the night, someone ran over his political signs in his yard. This happened before.

• Sept. 4 – An Iola caller on Lund Road reported a suspicious man living out of his pickup on Lund Road.

• Sept. 4 – An unknown caller reported a situation where a Dodge Charger parked in a disabled spot. “Both parties very worked up, honking and screaming at each other,” said the caller and noted that a man tried to attack him.

• Sept. 4 – A Waupaca caller on Chad Court reported receiving phone calls from an unknown man threatening to find her and kill her.

• Sept. 4 – A Clintonville woman on Lakeshore Road reported a young couple had been fighting all afternoon. There was banging of doors and the female yelled, “I hope you die.”

• Sept. 5 – A Waupaca caller on Frost valley Road reported a man was continuously jumping in front of cars and trying to wave them down.

• Sept. 5 – A Waupaca caller on Berlin Street reported ongoing burglaries and break-ins throughout July. He just had a fire number replaced and now it had a bullet hole in it.

• Sept. 5 – A West Bloomfield caller reported her daughter had a bridesmaid removed from her wedding. She posted this on Facebook and now many people were angry with her family and were threatening to crash the wedding.

• Sept. 5 – A Waupaca caller on State Highway 22-54 reported a man was breaking a restraining order by texting and Snapchatting a woman.

• Sept. 5 – A male caller reported a driver in a blue Ford SUV released three cats and ran them over.

• Sept. 5 – An Iola man on State Highway 49 reported his political signs were stolen.

• Sept. 5 – A Waupaca caller on Round Lake Road reported someone blacked out the writing on one of her political signs.

• Sept. 5 – The Waupaca County jail reported a prisoner spit upon a correctional officer.

• Sept. 5 – A caller reported a man was trying to get into her house.

• Sept. 5 – A Waupaca caller on Draeger Road reported his neighbors were burning garbage.

• Sept. 5 – An Iola woman on Graham Lake Road reported a threatening email that involved blackmail.

• Sept. 6 – A caller reported a gray Ford car near Amherst. A person held their hand out of the window and written on it was, “Help me.” The caller did not know if the person was male or female. The driver was wearing a baseball hat.

• Sept. 6 – A Clintonville caller on Knitt Road reported some checks were stolen from his house.

• Sept. 6 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King reported a dementia resident with bruises and it was unknown how the patient got the briises.

• Sept. 7 – A Clintonville man on June Bug Lane reported a vehicle was vandalized—a windshield wiper bent and a mirror smashed.

• Sept. 7 – A New London caller reported a boyfriend was trying to hit a female. A male was yelling in the background.

• Sept. 7 – A Waupaca man on Old Highway 22 reported he has trail camera pictures of his neighbor trespassing on his property.

• Sept. 7 – A Clintonville caller on Madison Road reported a suspicious man wearing plaid pajama pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt who was messing around with the shingles at Torborgs.

• Sept. 8 – A male caller reported his trail camera was smashed and has pictures of the person who did it.

• Sept. 8 – An Ogdensburg man on Cozy Pine Road reported 20 tires were illegally dumped.

• Sept. 8 – A Clintonville caller on Rindt Road reported a man’s dog ran in front of his vehicle and he wanted the man “spoken to” and if it happens again he “ain’t letting up.”

• Sept. 8 – An anonymous caller reported a man was at a storage unit and was screaming profanities, yelling at vehicles and beating his car.

• Sept. 8 – A Scandinavia woman on Main Street reported an identity theft including s suspicious $680 charge and emails stating that multiple loans were opened in her name.

• Sept. 8 – A Waupaca caller on Tower Road reported two men were wearing camouflage masks and were walking up to sheds and buildings.

• There were 13 deer-related calls during this period. 18 controlled burns were called in. The water patrol stopped 11 boats. A Weyauwega man reported 10 cows loose on County Trunk A. A caller reported loose pigs in the roadway on State Highway 110. A light brown cow was loose near Bigalke Road. A female caller reported a distressed eagle on a dock.
