Engle, Stanley

Posted

This is not the usual obituary, I dictated this to you myself. I could tell about my becoming a journeyman carpenter at the age of 20 or that I was a millwright and built sawmills all over the country, or that after retiring bought a farm and developed Englewood subdivision, but the thing I’m most proud of is my wife of almost 64 years; my beautiful daughters, Debi, Jodi and Danna (Rodney Walters), who still call me Daddy; our seven grandchildren who are all successful in their own right: Zackary, Nicolas, Marley, Cade, Brianna, Stanford and Logan. They delighted us with great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Elijah, Theo, Hattie and Delilah. The Lord also blessed me with 28 nieces and nephews, who I claimed for my own. I love to talk about Jesus, prophesy and politics. The Gideons gave me the opportunity to hand out bibles and opened opportunities to share God’s plan for salvation. I’ve had a wonderful life; the only thing I regret is leaving my precious wife, Peggy, but we will be together again in heaven rejoicing and praising our heavenly Father together and awaiting the rest of our family who love and received Jesus as their Saviour.
