Jane Elizabeth Beyer, age 74, of Manawa, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born in New London on May 17, 1949, daughter of the late David and Betty (Haight) Kosmerchock.

When she was young, she was very involved with her love of horses. Jane graduated from Little Wolf High School in Manawa. On October 28, 1967, she was united in marriage to Leroy Beyer at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2022. Jane and Leroy started farming in the Town of Little Wolf in 1971, “retiring” in 2011. Jane and Leroy enjoyed Friday fish fry’s, bowling, and going to the Hodag Festival. Jane enjoyed following her grandchildren’s bowling activities, taking care of her lawn and Little Creek Cemetery’s lawn, feeding her birds, gardening, cooking for others, and just being outdoors. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco.

She is survived by her children: Matt (Jennie) Beyer, Mark Beyer, Karen (Tyler) Lamkins; grandchildren: Carlene and Brystal Beyer, Elizabeth Lamkins; siblings: Donna Balthazor, Barbara (Milton) Blank, David (Kathy) Kosmerchock, William Kosmerchock, Joseph (Helen) Kosmerchock and Terri (Jack) Weasner; sisters- in- law: Lucy Noffke, Cheryl Beyer and Muriel Beyer. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Jean (Jerry) Kreps; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Earl (Mary Anne) Beyer, Sam Balthazor, Roger Beyer, Robert Beyer, Leonard Noffke Betty (Julian) Jensen.

The Memorial Service for Jane will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf.
