• Sept. 22 – Fremont Travel Plaza reported a suspicious vehicle was parked there for a few days.
• Sept. 22 – A Clintonville woman on McKinley Avenue reported her child’s phone was taken away by the child’s father. The caller and her husband pay for the phone service. The father refused to return the phone.
• Sept. 22 – A male caller requested an ambulance for a 60-year-old woman that was possibly drugged. She was losing feeling in her legs.
• Sept. 22 – A 911 caller requested an ambulance for a 28-year-old man that took about 70 pills.
• Sept. 22 – An anonymous caller reported his wife tried to notify a homeowner about a mailbox being down. The homeowner came out with a pistol and pointed at her and yelled at her.
• Sept. 23 – A Waupaca woman on Elm Valley Road reported someone pulled out her fire number sign from the ground and it appeared intentional.
• Sept. 23 – A Waupaca man on Virginia Drive requested a welfare check on a man that he’s been trying to contact for three days. Other people were wondering about the man’s whereabouts as well.
• Sept. 23 – A Weyauwega man on North Shore Road reported a woman sent him 24 messages in the last hour and was not stopping.
• Sept. 23 – A Manawa man on Wolf Road reported illegal burning. The people were burning shingles and other building materials.
• Sept. 23 – A Waupaca woman reported a woman was hitchhiking and looking for a ride downtown and her speech was slurred.
• Sept. 23 – A Weyauwega woman on Ann Street reported a juvenile runaway.
• Sept. 23 – A New London man on State highway 54 reported a 54-year-old man was passed out in a blue Ford Freestyle.
• Sept. 23 – A Clintonville man on Swamp Road reported a suspicious truck parked along the road with its lights off.
• Sept. 24 – A male caller requested a welfare check on his mother-in-law. He hadn’t seen or heard from her in two years.
• Sept. 24 – A Waupaca woman on Spencer Lake Road reported people were parking in her driveway and walking around her property with flashlights.
• Sept. 24 – An unknown caller requested an ambulance for a 51-year-old woman immobilized by a severe headache.
• Sept. 24 – An Ogdensburg woman on Rail Road reported a man was yelling and screaming and not following her directions.
• Sept. 24 – A juvenile was reported missing from McKinley Street in Clintonville.
• Sept. 25 – A 911 cell phone caller reported the death of a woman that fell.
• Sept. 25 – An unknown caller reported his neighbor was hunched over in his driveway in front of a garbage can and hasn’t moved for 30 minutes.
• Sept. 25 – A New London man on Shaw Road reported receiving harassing letters in the mail.
• Sept. 25 – An unknown caller reported the death of a 68-year-old man. He was having chest pains.
• Sept. 25 – A Scandinavia man on Weinmann Road reported a juvenile runaway.
• Sept. 25 – A New London man on State Road reported a juvenile that keeps running away, yells and swears and is out of control.
• Sept. 25 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk K reported she left her four kids at home while she went to the store. Two of them left with unknown whereabouts.
• Sept. 26 – A Weyauwega man on East Street reported a man with a traumatic brain injury said he wasn’t feeling well; his medicine wasn’t working and wanted to go to the hospital. He also did not feel safe and had thoughts of self-harm.
• Sept. 26 – A Manawa man on Fuhs Road reported a skinny man that “looks drugged” was standing at his door talking to himself.
• Sept. 26 – The Portage County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance looking for a subject that fled on foot and into the woods at the Fountain Lake boat landing.
• Sept. 26 – Kobussen Buses in Manawa reported a vehicle that did not stop when the bus was stopped.
• Sept. 26 – A Fremont man on Waupaca Street reported a suspicious red truck was driving up and down the street very slowly for the past couple days. The caller asked what he was doing. The driver replied he was looking for his lost dog. The caller didn’t buy his explanation.
• Sept. 26 – A Manawa woman on State Highway 22 reported her ex-husband was trespassing on her property.
• Sept. 27 – A female caller reported her Shih Tzu ran into the woods near State Highway 54 and a white Toyota Prius stopped and drove off with her dog.
• Sept. 27 – A Clintonville woman on 1st Street reported she was hit with birdshot from a waterfowl hunter.
• Sept. 27 – A Weyauwega woman on Slough Road reported her daughter seen someone on the backyard and the person took off running.
• Sept. 27 – Corner Bar in Weyaweuga reported multiple ATVs doing burnouts.
• Sept. 27 – An Iola man on State Road 49 reported his property was toilet papered. He was very upset and wanted to press charges if the scalawags were found.
• Sept. 28 – A Bear Creek woman on Symco Road reported her friend told her that another woman was cutting up her things, threatening to kill the friend’s cat and smash out her car windows.
• Sept. 28 – A Manawa woman on Bridge Street reported her boyfriend hit her in the face and he was drinking.
• Sept. 28 – A Waupaca woman on Young Drive requested a welfare check for her father. His wife was throwing his belongings outside and yelling at him.
• Sept. 28 – A Fremont man on State Highway 45 reported a white Toyota SUV pulled into his driveway and two men were looking in the windows and doors. The caller observed this through a camera.
• Sept. 28 – A Scandinavia man on Rollofson Road reported a male wearing a hoodie broke into his shed and he watched it on camera.
• Sept. 28 – A Waupaca woman on Dawn Drive reported a male was outside throwing things at the windows. Her husband could see it happening.
• There were 12 deer-related reports during this period. Five controlled burns were called in. A Parfreyville caller reported a German shepherd was running loose and would not come home. A loose dog was reported by the U.S. Highway 10 Churchill Street exit ramp. Theda Care New London reported a dog bite from a dog that was unknown to the victim. A caller reported a pit bull was hit by a car near Reek Road. A Waupaca woman on County Trunk K was bitten by her own cat. A Waupaca woman on Grandview Road reported her neighbor’s dog bit her. A New London man on Church Road reported a black-and-white husky killed nine of his ducks, left, and came back for more.
